The 23-year-old right winger, valued at €1.80m, is the subject of growing speculation over his future as Guingamp explore options to strengthen their attacking wide areas. Benhattab, a left-footed attacker who operates primarily on the right, is on the books at Nantes but has already experienced movement in recent seasons. He joined the Ligue 1 club from SC Aubagne Air Bel, with the 2024–25 campaign featuring both a permanent move to Nantes and an immediate loan back to Aubagne. Earlier in his career he featured for Chamois Niort’s youth and B teams before a short spell without a club in 2022, a phase that underlines how quickly his status has risen since.
Born in Marseille on 18 November 2002 and standing 1.70m tall, Benhattab is listed with both French and Algerian nationality. His market value has climbed sharply in the last two years, peaking at €2m with Nantes in October 2025 before settling at €1.80m in mid-December, reflecting both his potential and the uncertainty over his exact role at the club.
Having played in France throughout his career, a switch from Ligue 1 to Ligue 2 would be a step down in division but could offer more regular minutes in a competitive environment.
