Yassine Aiche: Franco-Algerian midfielder joins Strasbourg B on free transfer

Franco-Algerian midfielder Yassine Aiche has joined Racing Strasbourg B on a free transfer from Nizza U19. The 18-year-old, who plays in central midfield, makes the switch within French footballs youth and reserve structure after leaving the Nice academy set-up.

Born in Marseille on 7 June 2008, Aiche has represented both Algeria and France at youth level and now links up with Strasbourgs reserves as he takes the next step in his development. The move was completed on 9 July 2026, with the player leaving Nizza U19 at the end of his spell there.

Aiche arrives in Alsace on the back of a solid campaign in Frances youth competitions. He made 22 appearances and scored twice in National U19 Group D last season, and also found the net twice in nine matches in the Coupe Gambardella, Frances national youth cup, underlining his capacity to contribute in competitive environments.

The midfielder first came to wider attention at SC Air Bel, one of Marseilles recognised youth talent producers, before earning a switch to OGC Nices U17 side in 2024, also on a free transfer. He then progressed into Nizza U19 in 2025 as he moved up an age category.

Strasbourg B will now provide Aiche with a platform in a senior reserve environment following his progression through the youth ranks at Air Bel and Nice, with the deal confirmed as a free transfer.
