Yasin Ayari poised for Blackburn Rovers return amid Championship interest

Yasin Ayari

Blackburn Rovers are currently negotiating with Brighton & Hove Albion to extend Yasin Ayari’s loan spell. The 21-year-old Tunisian-Swedish midfielder is drawing interest from multiple Championship clubs, but Blackburn Rovers, under the guidance of manager John Eustace, are leading the race after a strong comeback season.

Sources from Africafoot indicate that while no final decision has been made, Middlesbrough and West Bromwich Albion have also expressed interest in acquiring Ayari.

Despite the competition, Ayari is keen to secure his future soon to ensure he has ample time to prepare for the upcoming season in a familiar setting.

Ayari, who featured in 13 matches for Blackburn Rovers last season, is not part of Brighton manager Fabian Hürzeler’s plans for the new campaign.

As a result, he is waiting for the go-ahead from his parent club to return to Ewood Park. His previous stint at Blackburn was marked by his dynamic performances in midfield, contributing significantly to the team’s resurgence.

The young midfielder’s preference for Blackburn Rovers is understandable given his previous successful loan spell.

Ayari is eager to build on the momentum he gained last season and believes that staying with Blackburn will provide the best environment for his development.

“I feel at home at Blackburn Rovers. The support from the fans and the trust from the coaching staff have been incredible.

I hope to return and help the team achieve even greater success,” Ayari said.

While Blackburn remains the frontrunner, the interest from Middlesbrough and West Bromwich Albion cannot be dismissed. Both clubs are keen to bolster their midfield options and see Ayari as a valuable addition.

Middlesbrough, aiming to improve their squad depth, and West Brom, looking to add creative flair to their lineup, have both made initial inquiries.

For Blackburn Rovers, retaining Ayari is a priority. His versatility and energy in the midfield are assets that John Eustace values highly.

The club’s management is working diligently to finalize the loan extension, seeing Ayari as a key piece in their plans for the upcoming season.

“We are keen to bring Yasin back. His contribution last season was vital, and we believe he can play an even bigger role as we aim for promotion,” said a Blackburn spokesperson.

As negotiations continue, the final decision rests with Brighton & Hove Albion. They will weigh the offers and Ayari’s development needs before making a decision.

The outcome is expected to be resolved shortly, as all parties involved are eager to have clarity before the new season kicks off.

Yasin Ayari’s potential return to Blackburn Rovers is a developing story with significant implications for the Championship.

His previous impact at the club, coupled with interest from other teams, makes this a closely watched transfer.

Fans and pundits alike will be eager to see where Ayari lands, as his presence could be a game-changer for any team in the league.
