Yanis Rahmani: CE Sabadell sign former Cartagena winger on free transfer
CE Sabadell have signed left winger Yanis Rahmani from FC Cartagena on a free transfer. The 31-year-old has agreed a deal through to 30 June 2027 with the Catalan club, who play in Spains second tier.
Rahmani moves to Sabadell after a short spell at Cartagena, which he joined in January 2026. The French-born wide player, who also holds Algerian nationality, arrives with extensive experience across the Spanish leagues and a current market valuation of 250,000.
An attacking left-footer standing 1.78m tall, Rahmani has built his career largely in Spanish football. He has made close to 180 appearances in LaLiga2, scoring 13 goals and providing 14 assists in the division, and has also featured regularly in the Copa del Rey. His new club will look to draw on that track record as they consolidate at LaLiga2 level.
Before Cartagena, Rahmani had spells with Malaga and Eibar, joining Malaga on a free transfer in August 2024 after his time at Eibar, where he had previously signed from Almeria in a 1.5 million deal in 2021. His career includes loans at CD Lugo and Tenerife, as well as earlier stints with Mirandes, Bilbao Athletic and several Basque clubs.
Rahmanis honours include winning the Copa Federacion de Espana with CD Mirandes in the 2018-19 season. He now becomes one of Sabadells senior attacking options for the 2026-27 campaign after completing his free transfer from Cartagena.
