Ghanaian midfielder Seidu Dauda Yussif has emerged as a transfer target for Tanzanian top flight club Yanga SC ahead of the January 2025 transfer window.
Reports from Tanzanian media outlet Maverick Sports indicate that the APR FC player is rated high on Yanga’s wishlist, with the club considering a move for him in the upcoming January transfer window.
The 24-year-old has garnered attention for his impressive performances during the CECAFA Kagame Cup, where he played a pivotal role in leading APR to the final, although they ultimately fell to Red Arrows.
His contributions were also notable in the 2024/25 CAF Champions League campaign, despite APR’s elimination by Egypt’s Pyramids.
APR acquired Dauda from Ghanaian champions Samartex FC for a reported $100,000 in June 2024.
To secure his transfer, Yanga SC would need to significantly increase that amount, potentially doubling or tripling the initial fee.
As the January window approaches, Yanga SC is keen to bolster their squad, and Dauda’s talents could be a valuable addition to their roster.
