Reports suggest that Tanzanian football club Young Africans SC has concluded the signing of Yusuph Kagoma, with the defensive midfielder set to join Yanga imminently.

Yusuph Kagoma, currently plying his trade for Singida Fountain Gate, has emerged as a prime target for Young Africans in recent months.

The 27-year-old midfielder’s impressive performances have caught the attention of Yanga, with his consistent displays earning him a call-up to the Tanzanian national team during the AFCON 2023 qualifiers.

Following keen interest from the club, Young Africans have taken decisive steps to secure Kagoma’s services.

Local media outlets indicate that Yanga SC has reached an agreement with Kagoma, finalizing a two-year contract.

It’s worth noting that Kagoma still has one year remaining on his contract with Singida FG.

The deal is reported to involve a significant transfer fee, with Young Africans purportedly paying upwards of 50 million Tsh to secure Kagoma’s signature.

However, neither club has officially confirmed the transfer at this stage.

The acquisition of Yusuph Kagoma represents a strategic move for Young Africans as they bolster their squad ahead of upcoming campaigns.

With his proven ability to perform at both club and international levels, Kagoma’s arrival is expected to provide valuable reinforcement to Yanga’s midfield ranks.

As fans eagerly await official confirmation from both Young Africans SC and Singida Fountain Gate, anticipation mounts over the prospect of seeing Yusuph Kagoma don the iconic yellow and green jersey of Yanga SC in the near future.
