Yan Diomande inspired by Liverpool links as Leipzig set €100m stance

Yan Diomande says growing transfer talk around a possible move to Liverpool and other European giants is only pushing him to work harder as he blossoms at RB Leipzig.

The 19-year-old winger is one of several attacking players on Liverpool’s radar ahead of a potential summer refresh in attack.

Speaking about the rumours, Diomande stressed that his priority remains performing for Leipzig and staying fit. “I’m here, and first and foremost, I’m healthy and working hard every day,” he said. The teenager admitted the speculation from elite clubs gives him an extra boost. “Hearing these rumours about big clubs like PSG, Chelsea, Liverpool, and others interested in me only motivates me more. I keep smiling, stay cheerful, and keep pushing forward.”

Leipzig currently value Diomande at around €100 million and are keen to secure him on a new long-term deal, meaning any move would demand a huge outlay from suitors. Even so, he insists he is not distracted. “My job is on the pitch, and I’m fully committed to my current club,” he added. “As for the rest, I have a team that takes care of everything; I don’t stress about it. I play for Leipzig and enjoy it.”
