RB Leipzig’s teenage sensation Yan Diomande has moved to quell intensifying transfer speculation linking him with some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Liverpool and Barcelona.

Speaking to the German publication BILD, the 19-year-old winger reaffirmed his commitment to the Bundesliga side, emphasizing his gratitude for the platform the club has provided him since his arrival from Leganés.

“I have a great life, and I owe that to RB Leipzig,” Diomande stated, effectively cooling talks of a summer exit.

“I’m very happy at the club and want to experience a lot more with the team. I still have big goals, but everything will come in its own time.”

The Ivorian international’s comments come at a time when his market value has skyrocketed following a breakout 2025–26 campaign, where he has averaged a goal contribution every 86 minutes.

Despite the player’s public pledge of loyalty, the interest from the Premier League and La Liga remains significant.

Liverpool, in particular, have reportedly been scouting the youngster heavily as they search for a long-term successor to Mohamed Salah.

While Diomande has previously admitted that playing at Anfield would be a “dream” due to his father’s admiration for the club and Steven Gerrard, he was quick to clarify that he is in no rush to force a move.

The stance taken by Diomande provides a boost to RB Leipzig, who have the player tied down to a long-term contract until 2030.

Having joined for approximately €20 million, his valuation is now estimated to be upwards of €100 million (£85m+).

This high price tag, combined with the player’s desire to continue his development in Germany, suggests that any potential suitors will face a difficult task in prising him away during the upcoming window.

As the season enters its final stretch, Diomande remains focused on achieving success with “Die Roten Bullen.”
