Yan Diomande commits future to RB Leipzig

Yan Diomande has underlined his commitment to RB Leipzig after a breakout season that has made him one of the most exciting young attacking talents in the Bundesliga.

The 19-year-old right winger has quickly attracted interest from major European clubs, including Liverpool, thanks to his impressive performances.

Despite that attention, Diomande is not thinking about an immediate move. In an interview with Kicker, he made it clear he plans to stay, saying: “I am under contract in Leipzig and enjoy playing here.”

He admitted he has big ambitions and wants to “play as high as possible” one day, but when asked directly if he would remain at Leipzig next season, he answered with a firm “Yes.”

For Leipzig, those words are hugely encouraging. Internally, Diomande is viewed as one of the big winners of recent months and a key part of their future. He is under contract until 2030 and reportedly has no release clause, which significantly strengthens the club’s position if big-money offers arrive.
