Wydad’s Ramiro Vaca joins Khorfakkan on loan from Wydad

Bolivian midfielder Ramiro Vaca has completed a season-long loan move from Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca to UAE Pro League club Khorfakkan, with the deal including an option to make the transfer permanent.

The move brings an end, for now, to Vaca’s spell at Wydad after a campaign in which he established himself as an important figure in the club’s midfield.

The 26-year-old made 18 league appearances for Wydad, contributing four goals and two assists during his time in Morocco.

His attacking returns from midfield made him one of the club’s more productive performers as he combined creativity with an eye for goal.

Vaca will now continue his career in the UAE Pro League, where Khorfakkan will hope his experience at club and international level can strengthen their squad for the season ahead.

The inclusion of a purchase option gives the Emirati club the opportunity to sign the Bolivia international permanently should he impress during his loan spell.

For Wydad, the agreement leaves open the possibility of Vaca returning to Casablanca at the end of the season if Khorfakkan decide against activating the option to buy.
