Wydad Athletic Club has officially announced the lifting of the ban imposed by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) through its official Facebook page.
This comes after the club successfully resolved its situation related to previous disputes.
The international football governing body, FIFA, had corresponded with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation regarding the implementation of a ban on Wydad Athletic Club’s transfer activities during the current winter transfer window.
This action was a consequence of the case involving Nigerian player Michel Babatunde.
The successful resolution of Wydad’s status marks a significant development for the club, signaling the end of the imposed ban and allowing the resumption of its normal transfer operations.
The club, known for its strong presence in Moroccan and African football, can now participate in the closing moments of the winter transfer market.
