Wydad Athletic Club have officially parted ways with head coach Patrice Carteron following a disappointing run of results.

The latest defeat means Wydad Athletic Club had endured a five-game winless run under Patrice Carteron, who was brough it to save the club from further decline.

Club president Hicham Ait Mana has moved quickly to appoint Mohamed Benchrifa as the new head coach, entrusting him with the task of reviving the team’s season.

Benchrifa will be supported by a technical staff that includes Tariq Al-Jarmouni as goalkeeping coach, Youssef Ashami as assistant coach, and Idris Wajo as physical trainer.
