Wydad, RS Berkane join race for Nigerian defender James Ajako

Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club and Renaissance Berkane have joined the race to sign Nigerian defender James Ajako from Renaissance Zemamra during the current summer transfer window.

Ajako has reportedly attracted interest from several clubs across Africa, Europe and the Middle East, with Wydad and RS Berkane among the latest sides to monitor the Nigerian centre-back.

According to a report citing Transfermarkt, UAE clubs Al Wahda and Khorfakkan, Bulgarian side Levski Sofia and Turkish club Eyüpspor have also made enquiries about the defender.
