The management board of Wydad Athletic Club, alongside administrative and financial specialists, convened a meeting with the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) through video conferencing technology.
The Wydad delegation responded to a series of inquiries posed in a report submitted by the club to FIFA concerning financial and administrative management as well as the club’s current situation.
FIFA aims to ascertain the status of clubs qualified to participate in the FIFA Club World Cup, slated to be hosted by the United States in June 2025.
Wydad is set to participate alongside Egypt’s Al Ahly, Tunisia’s Esperance, and South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns.
