Wydad Athletic Club has reported an unprecedented summer revenue of around $11 million, according to reports.

This historic financial milestone comes on the back of high-profile signings and significant tournament participation.

The club earned $9 million for its appearance in the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.

Wydad also profited from player transfers, including Jamal Eddine Harkas’s move to the Saudi League for $600,000 and Nassim Chadli’s transfer to Emirati side Al Ain for $1 million.

Additionally, sources revealed that the Libyan Football Federation contributed further funds related to the sale of Mauritanian player Ould Bana Amar, though the exact figures were not disclosed.

This achievement marks a first not only in Wydad’s history but also across Moroccan football, as no other club in the country has reported comparable revenues in a single transfer and tournament window.

The influx of funds is expected to help Wydad resolve outstanding financial obligations with FIFA and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, while also providing a solid economic base to bolster the team’s performance in domestic competitions and the CAF Confederation Cup.
