Wydad AC secures valuable win over Hassania Agadir

Wydad Athletic Club achieved an important victory away against Hassania Agadir, winning 2–1 in a rescheduled sixth-round match of the Moroccan Professional League.

The encounter, played at Al-Bashir Stadium in Mohammedia, saw Wydad apply early pressure which paid off when Aziz Ki scored in the sixth minute. The momentum continued as South African Christopher Lorch doubled the score in the twelfth minute.

Hassania responded quickly, netting a goal in the sixteenth minute to narrow the gap. The second half featured Wydad’s dominant possession and multiple attempts, with Abdelghafour Lamirat nearly adding a third goal, only to be denied by goalkeeper Badr Ebaair.

With this win, Wydad climbed to the top of the league table with 17 points. Hassania Agadir remained in 10th place with 7 points. Next, Wydad faces Olympique Safi, while Hassania prepares for Olympique Dcheira.

After the match, Wydad AC players ran to the stands to thank their fans who were waving flags.
