Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club have officially completed the signing of Naïm Byar from Italian side Bologna on a four-and-a-half-year contract.
The Casablanca-based club confirmed the acquisition on Wednesday through a statement released on its official platforms.
“Wydad Athletic Club announces its official signing of the player Naim Byar, on a contract that extends for four and a half seasons,” the club said.

The club expressed optimism about the impact the young midfielder is expected to make, highlighting confidence in his ability to strengthen the squad.
“While the club welcomes the addition of its new player to the team, it expresses its full confidence that Naim Byar will be a valuable addition to the group, and will contribute with his technical and physical abilities to strengthening the team and achieving the aspirations of the club and its fans,” the official statement said.
Byar, a Moroccan Under-20 international, joins the Red Team as part of efforts to bolster the squad during the ongoing winter transfer window.
The move is seen as a strategic addition aimed at reinforcing Wydad’s human resources as the club targets success on both domestic and continental fronts.
