Angola and Tunisia faced defeats on the 5th day of the Handball World Cup in Serbia. Angola lost to Norway with a 5-point gap (21-26), marking their second defeat in the competition. Despite the setback, it does not impact Angola’s chances of potential qualification for the next round. Tunisia, on the other hand, faced their fifth defeat in the tournament, losing to Germany with a score of 20-26. This loss resulted in Tunisia’s elimination from the competition. The Lionesses of Carthage will play their last match for honor against Australia. Among the four African countries in the tournament, only Angola still has a chance to qualify for the round of 16, while DR Congo and Algeria have already been eliminated.
