The Algerian handball team faced a tough start in the Handball World Cup held in Belgrade, Serbia, losing to Brazil with a score of 20-36. The Algerians struggled against the Brazilian team from the beginning, conceding five goals before scoring one themselves. Despite a burst of pride in the second half, led by Tizi, it was not enough to overcome the strong and well-prepared Brazilian team. Algeria’s next match in the tournament will be against Serbia, the host country.
