The Ivory Coast national team has officially arrived in the United States as preparations gather pace for the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Following a training camp in Paris, head coach Emerse Fae and his squad travelled across the Atlantic and landed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on June 7. The team has since settled into its base ahead of the tournament, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.

National Colours Steal the Show

The Elephants made a memorable entrance upon their arrival, proudly showcasing the country’s national colours. Their stylish appearance attracted attention as they stepped onto American soil ahead of the biggest football event in the world.

Members of the Ivorian diaspora were also on hand to welcome the team, creating a warm atmosphere as the players and technical staff arrived at their camp.

Focus Turns to Opening Fixture

With the tournament fast approaching, Ivory Coast will now concentrate on final preparations before their first Group E match against Ecuador on June 15.

The African champions will then face Germany on June 20 before concluding their group stage campaign against Curaçao on June 25 as they aim to secure qualification to the knockout stage of the World Cup.
