Algerian international referee Mustapha Ghorbal has been selected to officiate the FIFA World Cup 2026 Group C encounter between Scotland and Haiti.

The match is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 13, at Boston Stadium in the United States as both teams begin their World Cup campaigns.

Experienced African Official Gets Opening Assignment

Ghorbal has been entrusted with overseeing the first-round fixture in Group C, a pool that also features Senegal and the United States.

The highly regarded Algerian referee will be assisted by fellow countrymen Mokrane Gourari and Abbas Akram Zerhouni, who have been appointed as first and second assistant referees, respectively.

Full Officiating Team Confirmed

FIFA has also named Spanish official Alejandro Hernandez as the fourth official for the match.

Jose Enrique Naranjo, also from Spain, will serve as the reserve assistant referee.
