Ruud Krol, the newly appointed coach of Tunisia, unveiled the list of players who will face Cameroon in the first leg of the 2014 World Cup playoffs on October 13. Krol made some changes compared to the previous lists under former coach Nabil Maaloul, who resigned after the defeat against Cape Verde.
The list includes players like Amine Chermiti and Yassine Chikhaoui, who are making a return. However, the squad will be without key players Karim Haggui and Aymen Abdennour, who are suspended. Saber Khalifa, who is also likely to be suspended, is included in the list, along with Fakhreddine Ben Youssef.

The absence of Khalifa due to suspension was confirmed later on, but his name remains on the list.
