Eric Nshimiyimana, deputy and interim coach for the Amavubi team of Rwanda, has announced the list of 22 players who will travel to face Mali in the World Cup qualifiers for Brazil 2014. This selection follows a training camp in Gisenyi, located in the north of the country.
The list features players from APR, with the champion Rayon Sport team receiving fewer selections, despite finishing third in the championship. Only three Rayon Sport players are included in the 22-player squad. The Amavubi team is already out of contention for qualification to the Brazilian World Cup, having secured 1 point in Group H.
