The Pharaohs of Egypt arrived on Ghanaian soil for the Brazil 2014 World Cup play-off match in a rather relaxed atmosphere.
Egypt’s coach, Bob Bradley, recalls Ghana’s impressive performance against the United States in the round of 16 of the 2010 World Cup when he was coaching the U.S. Despite Ghana’s dominance with a 2-1 victory, Bradley, now coaching Egypt, is confident in his team’s abilities to overcome Ghana.
“I coach Egypt now, and this is not the World Cup. This is a team that has experience, and playing in Africa in these types of situations,” he conveyed to reporters at the airport, expressing his belief in the strength and adaptability of the Egyptian team.
