The Togolese national football team, headed by coach Didier Six, has called up the following players for their upcoming matches: Serge Akakpo, Serge Gakpé, Vincent Bossou, Kodjo Amétépé, Dove Wome, Daré Nibombé, Kalen Damessi, Emmanuel Mathias, Gafar Mamah, Sapol Mani, Francis Koné, Baba Tchagouni, Kokou Donou, Atsu Mawugbe, Djehani, and Claude Koutob. Additionally, Lalawélé Atakora, Farid Zato, and Sadat Ouro-Akoriko are expected to join the group later in the day after their flight via Accra (Ghana). Jonathan Ayité and Placca Fessou will be absent, with Ayité out for at least 6 weeks due to injury, and Fessou Placca deciding to acclimate to his new training. There are no plans to replace them in the squad. Komlan Amewou, Moustapha Salifou, Backer Aloenouvor, and Djene Dakonam are expected to join the team by Wednesday at the latest. The team is set to undergo a training session at the Kégué stadium. Togo and DR Congo have already been eliminated from the World Cup qualification, with the only ticket in the group contested between Cameroon and Libya in Yaoundé.
