Pele believes that Neymar has the potential to lead Brazil to victory in the next World Cup. In an interview with Le Parisien, the football legend expressed his optimism about the current Brazilian team and highlighted Neymar’s role in their success.
“We have a very strong team, and for once, we will approach the competition with a good balance between defense and attack. Neymar? Despite still lacking some experience, he has all the qualities to lead the country to final victory and overcome the trauma of 1950,” Pele stated.
With Neymar currently sidelined due to injury sustained in mid-January while playing for FC Barcelona, Pele acknowledges the challenges ahead for the star player. However, he remains confident in Neymar’s ability to make a significant impact on the World Cup stage and help Brazil achieve success.
