Belgium’s national football team, the Red Devils, will not be accompanied by their wives and children during the next Football World Cup, as decided by coach Marc Wilmots. Wilmots expressed the need for the players to prepare in complete calm, citing previous experiences, particularly in the 1994 World Cup in the United States, where such arrangements led to complications.
Although the families of the players will travel to Brazil during the summer, they will not be allowed to be near the players during the tournament. The decision is aimed at maintaining a focused and undisturbed preparation for the team participating in the World Cup.
