The Algerian national team, known as the Fennecs, has outlined its preparation program for the upcoming World Cup. Following their victory against Slovenia in a friendly match on March 5, Algeria is scheduled to face two other teams from Eastern Europe: Armenia on May 31 and Romania on June 4.
In preparation for these matches, a training camp is scheduled from May 29 for Vahid Halilhodzic’s team. Additionally, the coach will gather local players for two mini-training sessions at the end of March and during April.
Algeria plans to return to its base camp in Brazil on June 6, located in Sorocaba, Sao Paulo state. A final preparation match against an opponent yet to be determined is slated for June 10. Following this, Algeria will begin their World Cup campaign, facing Belgium, South Korea, and Russia in the group stage.
