The final phase of the 8th edition of the 2012 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) is scheduled to take place from October 28 to November 14, with the final to be held on the latter date. The competition will see Nigeria defending its title against seven other nations. The matches will be held at the Malabo and Bata stadiums in Equatorial Guinea.
The group stage will kick off with matches in Group A. The host country, Equatorial Guinea, will face South Africa at 2:30 p.m., followed by Senegal against DR Congo at 5:30 p.m. The complete program for the group matches is as follows:
Group A:
- October 28, 2012: Equatorial Guinea vs. South Africa (2:30 p.m.) and Senegal vs. DR Congo (5:30 p.m.)
- October 31, 2012: South Africa vs. Senegal (2:30 p.m.) and DR Congo vs. Equatorial Guinea (4:30 p.m.)
- November 3, 2012: Equatorial Guinea vs. Senegal (5:30 p.m.) and South Africa vs. DR Congo (5:30 p.m.)
Group B:
- October 29, 2012: Nigeria vs. Cameroon (2:30 p.m.) and Ivory Coast vs. Ethiopia (5:30 p.m.)
- November 1, 2012: Cameroon vs. Ivory Coast (2:30 p.m.) and Ethiopia vs. Nigeria (5:30 p.m.)
- November 4, 2012: Nigeria vs. Ivory Coast (5:30 p.m.) and Cameroon vs. Ethiopia (5:30 p.m.)
