In the first semi-final of the African Women’s Cup of Nations, Equatorial Guinea secured an easy qualification for the final scheduled for November 11. The team dominated Cameroon, opening the scoring in the 15th minute with a goal from Gloria Chinasa, followed by another goal from captain Geneviova Anomna in the 35th minute. The final opponent for Equatorial Guinea will be determined after the second semi-final between Nigeria and South Africa. Equatorial Guinea is set to face the winner of that match in the tournament’s final.
