Women’s Africa Cup of Nations 2020: The Hawks begin preparations
Head coach Tomety Kaï has unveiled a 23-player squad for Togo’s women’s national team ahead of a training camp scheduled for Saturday, February 29, in Lomé. The gathering forms part of the team’s preparations for the qualifiers of the 2020 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, a crucial campaign for the development of women’s football in the country.
As the Sparrowhawks aim to build a competitive and cohesive unit, this camp will provide an opportunity for the technical staff to assess player fitness, tactical discipline, and team chemistry. With the continental qualifiers approaching, the coaching staff is keen to fine-tune strategies and strengthen key areas of the squad.
