Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers are eyeing a move for French international of DR Congo descent Alex Disasi in the current transfer window.
Disasi joined Chelsea from AS Monaco in 2023 for €13 million, but has struggled to settle in well at the Stamford Bridge.
In search of playing time, the 26-year-old centre-back was farmed out of loan to fellow Premier League club, Aston Villa during the January transfer window.
Disasi, who is not part of manager Enzo Maresca’s plans heading into the new season will have to find himself a new club before the start of the season.
According to reports, Wolves, who are interested in signing the talented defender are prepared to cough £30 million for acquisition of Disasi.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are currently considering the offer, but have not given an official response yet.
Since joining Chelsea, the 26-year-old centre-back has made 61 appearances for the Blues. His current contract with the Premier League is expected to elapse in summer 2029.
