Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg officially announced the signing of Algerian international Mohamed Amine Amoura from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise.
The club made the announcement on its official website, confirming that they have secured the services of the forward, who recently enjoyed a successful stint in Belgium, winning the Belgian Cup and finishing as the runner-up in the Belgian Pro League with Saint-Gilloise.
Sebastian Schindzielorz, Wolfsburg’s Sporting Director, expressed his enthusiasm for the new addition, praising Amoura’s attributes.
“At 24, Amoura fits perfectly into the profile we are looking for.
His incredible speed is something that will be a significant asset for us,” Schindzielorz stated.
The sporting director also emphasized the club’s confidence in Amoura’s ability to make an immediate impact.
“We are all confident that Amoura will provide the necessary contributions and bring joy to our fans,” he added.
Amoura’s move to Wolfsburg marks a significant step in his career, as he transitions from the Belgian league to one of Europe’s top competitions, the Bundesliga.
His impressive performances in Belgium caught the attention of several clubs, but it was Wolfsburg who secured his signature, demonstrating their intent to bolster their attacking options.
The Algerian forward is expected to integrate quickly into the team, bringing his dynamic playing style and goal-scoring prowess to the German side.
