Luis Enrique Praises Luis Suarez’s Impact Despite Suspension
Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has expressed high praise for Luis Suarez, despite the striker’s current inability to play due to suspension. Speaking ahead of their upcoming league match, Enrique highlighted Suarez’s positive influence on the team off the pitch.
“He’s already helping us, although not in football terms,” Enrique said. “Before every match, he’s an expressive, contagious player who gives his all in training and brings a lot to the squad. Even though he can’t play yet, he’s fully adapted and patiently waiting for his time.”
The Spanish coach added that Suarez’s commitment in training is impressive and crucial for his smooth reintegration once his ban ends. “He trains as if he could play tomorrow, which will make it easier for him to join the squad as soon as his sanction is lifted. Training with 100% intensity helps build all the necessary connections with his teammates, and he’s doing it very well. I’m very happy with that.”
Luis Enrique’s optimism suggests that the striker’s much-anticipated return could come in Barcelona’s highly anticipated first Clasico of the season against Real Madrid on October 25.
