Wisdom Awusi: Ghanaian midfielder joins JK Trans Narva on free transfer from Cordoba CF B

Ghanaian midfielder Wisdom Awusi has joined Estonian top-flight side JK Trans Narva on a free transfer from Spanish club Cordoba CF B.

The 22-year-old central midfielder has signed a deal running until 31 December 2026 as he makes the move from Spain to the Premium Liiga. Awusi, who plays primarily in the centre of midfield and favours his right foot, links up with Trans Narva after one season with Cordoba’s B team.

Born in Sunyani on 3 December 2003 and standing at 1.78m, Awusi has spent the past few years building his career in Spanish football. Before arriving at Cordoba CF B in July 2025, he had spells with Real Jaen CF and Marbella, initially joining Marbella from Mountain FC in 2022. He also gained experience on loan at Colunga during the 2023-24 campaign, returning to Marbella at the end of that deal.

Last season, Awusi featured across domestic league and cup competitions in Spain, including appearances in the promotion play-offs to the Segunda Federacion, the Copa Federacion and the Copa del Rey. He scored once in the Copa Federacion and gained further minutes in league and cup, adding competitive experience ahead of his move to Estonia.

Awusi will wear the colours of JK Trans Narva for the remainder of the 2026 Premium Liiga season under the terms of his contract, which runs through to the end of the calendar year.
