Valenciennes striker and Franco-Togolese player, Steve Savidan, faced a challenging situation when he was stuck for 28 hours on the highway due to heavy snow. Fortunately, he was able to resume his journey on Wednesday around 4 a.m. Emergency services helped tow the vehicles and clear the road.
Savidan recounted his experience, stating that he could not sleep much during the ordeal. The lack of heating became problematic, and he was relieved when the road was finally cleared. Upon returning home, he enjoyed hot chocolate with toast before going to bed. Savidan obtained an exemption from morning training, and he met his teammates later in the day. The club organized a meal for the players.
