Wilfried Kanga: Al-Fateh linked with KAA Gent striker

Wilfried Kanga, the Ivorian-French centre-forward at KAA Gent, has been linked with a move to Saudi Pro League club Al-Fateh.

Kanga, 28, is currently playing in Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League, while Al-Fateh are competing in Saudi Arabia’s top flight. The reported interest comes with the forward’s current contract at Gent due to run until 30 June 2028.

Kanga’s market value is listed at €3m, although no transfer fee has been reported and there is no indication that an agreement has been reached between the clubs. The rumour was recorded on 10 August 2026.

The possible move would see Kanga leave Gent for a club operating in the Saudi Pro League, but the available information does not confirm whether negotiations have taken place or whether a formal offer has been made.

Kanga holds Ivorian and French nationality and plays as a centre-forward. He remains a Gent player under contract through the end of June 2028, with Al-Fateh currently the club linked with his signature.
