Liverpool and Spurs Target Swansea Striker Wilfried Bony
Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony has attracted strong interest from top Premier League clubs after an impressive debut season in England. The Ivorian forward, who scored 25 goals in all competitions last term, is reportedly on the radar of both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
According to The Mirror, Swansea have reluctantly agreed to consider offers for the 25-year-old, valuing him at around €24 million. The Welsh club recently signed French striker Bafétimbi Gomis, fuelling speculation that Bony could be allowed to leave before the close of the transfer window.
Liverpool, still in the market for a striker following the collapse of Loïc Rémy’s proposed move due to medical concerns, are understood to have identified Bony as a top priority. Tottenham are also monitoring the situation closely.
Despite Swansea’s hopes of retaining their star forward for another campaign, the final weeks of the transfer window could see Bony make a high-profile switch.
