Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has resumed training as he works his way back from injury, head coach Ruud van Nistelrooy confirmed on Friday.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Leicester’s trip to Goodison Park to face Everton, Van Nistelrooy provided an update on the Nigerian’s progress.
Wilfred is back in partial training with the squad, and we expect him to fully rejoin the team in the coming days,” the Dutch manager said.
Ndidi has been sidelined since December 8, when he was forced off in the 52nd minute during Leicester’s 2-2 draw with Brighton.
His return will be a significant boost for the Foxes as they continue their campaign.
