Widad Temara secure Morocco striker Mohamed Wail Babah on contract until 2029

Morocco centre-forward Mohamed Wail Babah has joined Widad Temara from CA Khenifra, strengthening the Botola Pro Inwi club’s attacking options with a move that runs until 30 June 2029.

Babah, 23, completed the switch on 5 August 2026 after spending the opening part of the 2026-27 campaign with CA Khenifra. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the move.

The El Jadida-born striker made one appearance in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine, playing 70 minutes. He now continues his career with Widad Temara, having moved between several Moroccan clubs since beginning his senior pathway.

Babah joined CA Khenifra from O. Khouribga on 1 January 2026. That move followed a spell with Kenitra, where he arrived from Raja Casablanca’s reserve side in August 2023.

Before that, he spent a season with Raja Casablanca’s reserves after leaving MAS Fes Reserve, which he had joined from Raja Casablanca’s under-19 team in 2020. His early development began at DHJ Youth, where he played before moving to Raja’s youth ranks.

The 1.86-metre forward is left-footed and has operated primarily through the centre of the attack. His latest transfer keeps him in Moroccan football while taking him to a club competing in the country’s top division.

Widad Temara’s agreement with Babah provides a long-term contract, with the player committed to the club until the end of June 2029. The deal marks the latest step in a career that has taken him through youth, reserve and senior football in Morocco.

Babah has now completed his move from CA Khenifra and is a Widad Temara player.
