Gambian youngster Adama Bojang have emerged as a transfer target for English Premier League outfit West Ham United this summer.
The 21-year-old forward spent the just ended football campaign on loan at Swiss top-flight side Grasshoppers and contributed significantly for the club. He made 27 appearances across competitions, scoring six goals and delivering two assists.
With his loan deal set to expire at the end of June, the talented attacker is expected to rejoin parent club Stade Reims in France.
However, West Ham United have moved to swoop for the Gambian international forward, with negotiations between the Hammers and Reims being at advanced stage.
Reims has set an asking price of £11 million for the Gambian forward, and West Ham is ready to meet that demand.
Bojang signed with Reims in 2023 and was loaned out to Swiss side Grasshopper.
The 21-year-old forward has capped for the national team, making his debut appearance on June 2024.
