PSG’s Jean-Christophe Bahebeck Set for West Ham Loan Amid Growing Interest
Jean-Christophe Bahebeck is reportedly on the verge of joining West Ham United on loan, as Paris Saint-Germain prepare to finalise their attacking reshuffle with the arrival of Ángel Di María.
According to Le 10 Sport, the 22-year-old forward—born in Cameroon but representing France internationally—is close to sealing a temporary move to the Premier League, where the Hammers are said to be keen on his services. The move comes as Bahebeck faces stiff competition for a place in PSG’s frontline, with his chances of regular game time looking slim.
Despite interest from several clubs in Ligue 1, notably AS Saint-Étienne, and other suitors in Germany and Italy, West Ham appear to be in pole position. A loan spell would allow Bahebeck to gain much-needed minutes and regain form, having already experienced multiple temporary stints away from the Parc des Princes.
A product of PSG’s youth academy, Bahebeck has shown flashes of talent in previous seasons but has struggled to secure a consistent role within the star-studded squad. His potential move to England could mark a fresh start and an opportunity to prove himself on a new stage.
