Having netted a goal for the Ivory Coast Elephants in their recent match against the Gambia Scorpions (3-0) during the third day of the Brazilian World Cup qualifiers, Wilfried Bony is reportedly in advanced talks with West Ham.
Currently leading the goal-scoring charts in the Dutch championship with an impressive 26 goals for Vitesse Arnhem, the Ivorian striker has become a sought-after player among several European teams. Apart from Marseille, who had been monitoring him since last November, Premier League clubs, including West Ham, have expressed interest.
According to reports from the Dutch daily Voetbal International, an agreement has allegedly been reached between the management of Vitesse and West Ham for the transfer of the 24-year-old player. The Hammers are said to be prepared to offer €13.5 million to secure the services of the former Issia Wazi player.
