Manchester United have set their sights on strengthening their defense by targeting West Ham defender Issa Diop. The French-Senegalese center-back had an impressive season, making 33 Premier League appearances and scoring once. Formerly of Toulouse, the 22-year-old has drawn attention from several top clubs, and West Ham appear open to a move—though they are determined not to let him leave on the cheap.
According to The Independent, Manchester United have submitted a €50.5 million offer for Diop. However, West Ham remain unsatisfied with the bid and are reportedly seeking a deal that could involve Anthony Martial as part of the exchange, valuing Diop at €84 million. Negotiations are ongoing, leaving uncertainty over whether the Red Devils will meet West Ham’s demands to secure the promising defender.
