West Brom complete €3m signing of Spanish-Nigerian winger Kareem Tunde from Levante

West Brom have signed Spanish-Nigerian winger Kareem Tunde from Levante for €3m, with the 21-year-old joining the Championship club on a contract running until 30 June 2030.

Tunde, who operates on the right wing and prefers his left foot, moves to England after making one LaLiga appearance for Levante during the opening stages of the 2026-27 season. He made his senior debut in Spain after progressing through Levante’s system, and now becomes a West Brom player following the completion of the move on 27 August.

Born in Barcelona on 19 August 2005, Tunde has represented both Spain and Nigeria as nationalities. He stands 1.77m tall and began his youth career at St Andreu before moving to Espanyol’s academy in 2014.

Tunde subsequently spent time in Barcelona’s youth set-up and at CF Damm, joining Levante’s Under-19 side in July 2022. He moved into Atletic Levante’s senior structure two years later and joined Levante’s first team in January 2026.

His move to West Brom comes with the winger’s market value recorded at €2m, while the agreed transfer fee is €3m. The deal takes him from Spain’s top flight to the English second tier, where he will continue his career with a contract lasting four seasons beyond the current campaign.

Tunde’s only senior league appearance before leaving Levante came in LaLiga, where he featured for 14 minutes. He did not score or provide an assist in his league appearance this season.

West Brom have therefore added a young wide player with experience of senior football in Spain to their squad, with Tunde’s arrival formally confirmed on 27 August 2026. He is contracted to the club until 30 June 2030.
