Wesley Delgado: Cape Verde winger joins Al-Nasr from Al-Fateh on long-term deal
Cape Verde winger Wesley Delgado has joined Al-Nasr in the United Arab Emirates from Saudi Pro League side Al-Fateh, signing a contract with the UAE Pro League club until 30 June 2029.
The 22-year-old right winger, who favours his left foot and stands at 1.86m, makes the switch after a season in Saudi Arabia in which he gained top-flight experience with Al-Fateh. The deal sees him leave Saudi football for the first time since arriving in the region.
Delgado featured regularly for Al-Fateh in the Saudi Pro League, making 24 league appearances and contributing two goals and three assists. He also appeared in the Kings Cup, adding cup experience to his first campaign in the countrys top division.
Before moving to Saudi Arabia, Delgado had been with Portuguese side Uniao 1919, from whom he joined Al-Fateh on a free transfer in September 2025. His move to the Gulf has coincided with a rise in his market valuation, which now stands at around 250,000.
Now switching to Al-Nasr, Delgado will compete in the UAE Pro League for the first time, adding another step to a career that has already taken him from Portugal to the Middle East. The transfer was completed on 13 July 2026, with his new deal tying him to Al-Nasr for three seasons.
