Werder Bremen reach agreement for Moussa Ndiaye

Werder Bremen are close to signing Moussa Ndiaye after reaching a verbal agreement with the 24-year-old left-back, according to Sky.

The Bundesliga club still needs RSC Anderlecht to approve the move, but talks with the Belgian side are already at an advanced stage.

The deal is expected to be a loan with an option to buy, giving Werder a flexible solution as they search for more depth on the left side of defence. Ndiaye, a Senegal international, has been on Bremen’s radar for some time, and the move appears to be moving in the right direction.

Manager Daniel Thioune has already confirmed that Werder are interested in the defender, which adds weight to the latest reports. For Ndiaye, the switch could offer a fresh start and a clearer path to regular playing time in one of Europe’s top leagues.

Werder have been active in the market as they try to strengthen key positions before the window closes. If Anderlecht give the green light, Ndiaye could soon be heading to the Weser as another important addition for the season ahead.
