Al Hilal player Al-Tayeb Ben Zeitoun says his outfit will play with utmost strength when they take on Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League quarterfinals first leg.
The Sudanese giants takes on the Egyptian powerhouse on Tuesday, April 2025 at the Cairo International Stadium.
Speaking ahead of the game, the Tunisian star admitted Al Ahly clash will be tough but insists the side will strive to achieve a positive result to please their large fans.
“We will play the match with utmost strength, and there is another match in Mauritania in a week” he said.
Meanwhile, the return leg of the much-anticipated clash has been scheduled for next week.
The Sudanese giants are playing home away from home in the ongoing CAF Champions League campaign due to political unrest in the country.
Al Hilal initially opted to host Al Ahly in the second of the quarterfinals clash in Libya but the continental football governing body decided to move the much-anticipated clash to Mauritania instead.
