Lesotho coach Leslie Notsi says his outfit will give their all when they take on South Africa in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Notsi’s outfit will travel to face the former African champions on Friday, March 21 at Peter Mokaba Stadium before hosting Rwanda on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
Ahead of the game, Notsi admitted their game against South Africa won’t be easy but vows to give their all to secure positive result in the game.
“We know it won’t be easy, but we’ll give it our all. These games are a chance for our players to gain international exposure and prove themselves,” Notsi said.
Lesotho are fourth in Group C, accumulating five points after four matches into the qualifying campaign. Trailing Rwanda, South Africa and Benin with just two points, Lesotho will be eyeing positive results to maintain their qualification hopes.
They have managed one win, two draws and one defeat from the initial four matches in the qualifiers.
