“We need to improve” – RS Berkane coach Moine Chaabani insists after draw with Raja Casablanca

RS Renaissance Berkane coach Moine Chaabani shared his thoughts following his team’s 1-1 draw against Raja Casablanca on Wednesday in the postponed seventh round of the Moroccan league.

At a post-match press conference, the Tunisian manager highlighted the cautious approach of Raja, noting that they relied heavily on counter-attacks rather than aggressive attacking play.

Chaabani acknowledged that his side struggled to break down their opponents and admitted he was not fully satisfied with the team’s technical performance.

“Raja played cautiously and focused on counter-attacks. From a technical standpoint, there are aspects of our game that need improvement, but we will build on the positives,” Chaabani said.

Renaissance Berkane now turn their attention to another challenging fixture, travelling to Casablanca next Sunday to face Wydad Athletic Club, as they aim to strengthen their league campaign following the stalemate with Raja.
